My friend volunteers at the SPCA (I could never..would be too difficult for me, since they euthanize so many animals). And she snagged this little boy for me before he was to be euthanized with his mother, and 3 sisters. I told her to not even mention to me when they have rats, or when they are going to be euthanized. But she said she had a big attachment to him, and she didn't want him to be killed, but she couldn't keep him herself..so she knows me pretty well, and knew I would take him lol. And I did...I'm a sucker! She named him Patrick. We are saying he is her rat, but at my house lol. Eventually he will be introduced to my current boys and will live in their Ferret nation.
