New sub-forum?

In view of the large number of pit bull-related posts, is it possible to give everyone interested in the various related issues - bsl, news items about pit bulls, the joys of mastiffs, etc. - their own space? A pit bull/'molosser' sub-forum, in other words. It certainly seems to have the popularity to sustain it, and it might encourage more diversity in other sub-forums, which often seem to be dominated by these topics.

Hrm. Why not then just have boards for each group of dogs? (Working herding etc.) Seems a little odd to have an entire board dedicated just to a couple of breeds, on a forum that is for dogs in general.

For the ease of finding such topics that would be nice because then there would be stickies so certain topics wouldn't get repeated ad nausum every few months...

I have to admit having everythign kind of grouped gets me more involved in threads i'd otherwise ignore. Which i suppose has it's own set of pluses and minuses.
