They're banned here in Perth, too. I don't think I've ever seen one - although someone had a cross the other day that very closely resembled a pit.
It's a shame, but in Perth there just aren't enough resources to educate people on the hazards of dog ownership - ALL dogs, not just pitbulls - and so it's probably better off that way. People have a habit here of just letting their dogs do as they please....

You have a Hot Dogs muzzle for Messina!!! I love it! If she has to wear one it might as well look as harmless as possible eh? Good choice with the pink and flowers, she's beautiful May I ask where you got it? We sell them at my store too. I've fitted dozens and dozens of them since the ban went through, which is a shame really, but they're a good fit and they seem more humane than some I've seen.
Oh, and Dudek is pretty darned cute in that swing
