New here from California

Hi I'm new here. Hope to find good info here. I adopted a puppy from the local shelter a few months ago. My puppy is about 4-5 mos old and her name is Maui. I was hoping you guys could help me figure what she's mixed with. When I adopted her the shelter said she was a Harrier mix and when I brought Maui to the vet he said he might be a Jack Russell Mix. What do you guys think? Thanks again in advance.

Welcome! Maui is definitely a cutie! With her face the first breed that came to my mind was Jack Russell.

It's hard to tell at this age. How big is Maui now? She definitely has a Terrier look, and Harriers aren't very common, so the odds of a Harrier mix aren't really too high. She's definitely a cutie, though!

Would it be a good guess, from your forum name, to ask if you're from the Bay Area? I grew up there.

Yes Renee I'm from the Bay Area. Born and raised in SF for 28 years. Just moved to the East Bay in August.

I figured she wasn't a Harrier mix. Maui is about 20-25 lbs now. Thanks again for your help everyone.
