This is why I shouldn't work at a vet clinic. :rofl1:

A client came in for his appointment the other day to update his dogs vaccines, but he also brought in a little baby kitten. He had found her the day before and couldn't keep her, so after the vet appointment he was going to drop her off at the humane society. Now, the shelter is no place for cats...especially little tabby kittens. I had been saying how much I missed having a wee little kitten around (I've had a kitten around for the past three summers), so I offered to foster the little girl until she was old enough to be adopted. The clinic works with a rescue and adopts out cats in the lobby, so if she hasn't found a home by the time she hits eight weeks or so she'll be put up for adoption through the clinic.

So, say hello to Summer Fury! (The man who found her named her Summer, but my boyfriend has dubbed her "The Furious Beast", so we tacked Fury on the end.) She will be a house guest for the next four or five weeks. She's around 3.5-4 weeks old right now. I do believe she's going to be a fluffeh kitty when she gets older. Right now she's just learning how to play and is relishing the fact that she gets to run around and attack things. LOL Quite a feisty, bratty little girl. I'm hoping when she gets a bit older and we introduce her to the other cats they'll help keep her in line. Luckily for me, she's already pooping on her own and eating semi-solid food, so the hard part is already over!

She is adorable!!!! I think my little foster kitten might be a failed foster. My husband really wants to keep him so it just depends on where we end up moving since our lease is up here in two months.
