Daisy finished her 1st OB class a couple weeks ago. It was a small class in an indoor facility. She was the only pup, the other dogs were all 18 months or older. On Saturday while at class with Gunnar, I asked the trainer when their next beginner class started, as we were interested in getting Daisy into another class. He says "I have one starting Monday, right here. You can come for free if you want, I have 10 dogs and one more isn't a problem" So we get a free class! It'll be good for Daisy, it's a large outdoor area, there will be a bunch of new dogs and distractions, and a lot more fun than being in a small room with only a couple dogs. We went last night, but it had been cancelled due to rain. One other owner showed up, with a 5 month old lab, so we let them play for a while. I was impressed with Daisy's recall. I went to the other side of the area, and would call her and she'd come running, then my wife would call her back, and she'd go running the other way. She was listening to sit and stay commands even with the other dog running around her- so she's off to a good start!
