ACK! I'm disapointed, though. I shot some GREAT pictures of Lizzie in RAW. How to I convert from RAW to JPEG??? :-((

But, I really love my new Nikon D40x. It's the best. I shot mostly in Auto and Sports mode since i don't know much else yet. LOL

Thanks Renee. Ooo, I will have to ask Becca or Sizzle about that!

Good luck finding a camera tomorrow, Merico!

great shots!!!!

To convert RAW images (or to even open them) into jpg, you will need a RAW image program.
I do not know if photoshop or one of its many programs opens them (I'm sure at least ONE of the programs does). I use RawStudio because it's Linux related, and I have a linux-run machine.
Once you open and adjust the RAW file in a program, save it as a .jpg or .tiff
:D

Great photos! I love Blaze, I don't think I've ever seen a BC with his facial structure before (and I like it, BTW). :D

Becca is right, you'll need to open the RAW files in a program that can open them. I use Photoshop... but I'll admit... I rarely shoot in RAW, unless it's something really important. They simply take up too much room on my computer, and since my job (I'm officially a designer for The Doberman Pinscher Magazine) requires so much of my computer's resources, I can't justify sucking up all the space I have with my own personal RAW images. ;)

Thank you, thank you!! I will try that out. Yeah, I've heard RAW is better if you want to change alot, but it seems to much of a hassle.

Hehe Sizzle, he's got his Dam's body to a "T".

Yep, RAW is definitely more versatile. I love it, but with my... prolificness... I'd need mountains of room for them all! :p
