So somebody with the rescue just sent an email, stating that her ferret was just diagnosed with Giardia. Her vet has seen 2 other ferrets with it this week, so there's a fairly good chance a ferret at FerretFest has it, and passed it on.
This would explain ALL of Renegade's symptoms, and would clear him from fear of cancer.
We honestly never even THOUGHT to check for Giardia and the likes, because the symptoms are the same as Helicobacter, and we figured there was no way he got Giardia since he hadn't been outside in a while... before FerretFest, that is.
