Needs a nap

This little dog told me he needed a nap.
First attempt for the miniature competition for next year.
not even bisque fired yet, the soft brown will be a dense black and white, with a satin mat blue collar.

My friend Kelly has one by her computer at work, also a very small dog rock that I painted eons ago. Nice to know people like my work enough to have it about them in their day.

I want to do my baby squirrel...have the photo above my desk and still studying it. I need practice before I can get that intricate.

After looking at Joey's pics there is too much white on the muzzle, i didn't bring the black down far enough...sighs..will do it again. Wish I would have seen that before it dried.

Dude, how did I miss this thread!?! He's absolutely adorable. I want to say huggable, but he's ceramic. That just goes to show how freaking amazing your work is, if it can make me want to cuddle a lump of baked mud.
