So worried about our newly adopted 13 month old German Shepherd Teeka.

We took her to the vet last week as she presented with sudden onset limping and a swollen back leg.

She had a fever, and a huge mass on her lymp nods.

We did blood work and x rays and both were sent off to the specialist. Vet didn't see any obvious problems with her leg.

He also took a sample from the mass to send to the specialist.

Swelling has since gone down with no limping but her antibiotics finish tomorrow and the mass on her lymp nods is still there.


We go for our re check on Wednesday but I'm so woraised it cancer

Thanks so much everyone.

At our last check up we got the sample back as low risk for cancer yay.

However we also didn't get any answers yet, so the vet wanted to extend the antibiotics which finished today.

At her last check up all of her lymp nods were swollen but only one mass.

We go in 5 days for more testing and bloodwork.

Did they run a 4DX test?

I'll ask at our upcoming appointment and update you.

They did a fluid draw on the mass and tested the cells bit I'm unsure of the exact test.
