Need prayers, Strider is missing

I'm SO glad Strider is coming home safe & sound! Phew! It really can be scary, because a sighthound will just run and run and run... thank GOD the Vet took him in.

Now, what is in store for hubby for causing all of this?

I think it helped that we live on a tiny peninsula. Once he was done in the forest he went through a housing development since it was the only direction he could go, and some wonderful ladies caught him. I have their address, so I'm putting together a goody basket to leave on their porch.

As for Robert....he totally knows he's in trouble. At the moment, I just feel really happy that Strider is safe and don't want to think about what's in store for him, lol. He has already done a load of dishes and put the laundry in. He knows.

Believe me, this is just the beginning.....

And he's learned his lesson about trusting a primitive hunting breed to not disappear off leash. It should never happen again.

I worry about this myself, as Sierra can't be trusted off leash and Matt always has this need to want to "try it out". I think I've made it quite clear what the consequences will be if he loses our dog, but I can only IMAGINE how mad and upset you were!
