Hey 2pups!
I'm the groomer you were lookin for LOL :D Anyway, those are tear stains that you are talking about. Long hair dogs get these pesky tear stains because when the tears come out for whatever reason, they naturally flow down the face, bunching up in the hair and drying.

First off, you could try putting regular ol' dog soap on a wash rag and really scrubbing the area best you can. That doesn't work, put some Hydrogen Peroxide on the area. Allow it to sit for awhile, then rinse out. If this doesn't work, go to your local petshop/petstore and ask them where the Diamond Eye is. They will know where to direct you.

Here is a website that you can check out Diamond Eye on:

I hope this helps! Don't hesitate to ask any more questions!!

I also have a question about this. I'm dog sitting my neighbors white Poodle and would like to bathe him before they come back. He also has those brown tear stains on his face. Do you have to dilute the hydrogen peroxide?

Thanks,
Dena

Hey Dena
No, don't dilute it as long as the Poodle is white. If it is any other color, you should dilute it. I would say for apricot dilute it 2:1 to water. For black, 2:3. Hope it turns out good!

Hiya 2pups!
Well, it sounds as though Brownie's ears may be infected. If there is a foul smell coming from the ears, go ahead and take him to the vet to get some antibiotics. Here is what I do to clean the ears:
Get 3 or 4 Q-tips, and dip one side of each into peroxide. Clean the ears without probing too deep. Then, with the dry side, dry the ears up. Good luck with this~ I hope he doesn't have an ear infection*

when roxy had those tear stains the groomer (the bad one, who yanked out the hair in roxys ears out) took a flea comb and just combed out the hardened hairs that were there, the tear stains. but it wasnt a combing. she yanked it. and once agian roxy yelped and cried. i seriously think she doesnt know what she is doing.
