She says look! My ears can stand up again. And I even have hair on my behind. She was so excited and really enjoyed walking on the sand and sniffing all the good river smells. There are still a couple very small bald spots, one on her tail, and on the back of her hocks, but the rest of her I think is good to go. All new coat, shiny and bright. She still has arthritis, but not enough to slow her down much, and her back is roached, but no matter. SHe has such a pretty face and such a good heart. I can't wait to take her to the dog park. She stepped right into the river water so maybe she will like the dog beach.

Here she says to show you this one...YES I DO HAVE A HAIRY BEHIND WAHOOOOOO Those last two places on her legs, right at the hock and the one spot on her tail is the last of it, tho they are getting little tufts now too. I tell her every morning that she is just beautiful. Most happy about those free flopping ears. It's like watching a butterfly unfold, those ears.

SHe is so funny, and so smart. Those eyes have more expression of mirth, and she smirks and she smiles, and she just is wonderful is all. It is a joy to be in her company and I love her to pieces. She does like to visit Patrick when he comes over, she likes it when she can see her old owner outside. She was over the top happy when his son visits. I just will not let her put one foot in that door, and I watch her like a hawk for crumbs that might have been dropped outside. While she was visiting the boy I picked up a handful of peanut butter crackers that were in the grass. I don't know how much it would take to have a reaction and I don't ever want to find out. I thank Wellness for this. I wrote them and told them about her and sent photos. She eats nothing else except for a piece of cheese or a spoonful of whipped cream cheese for being extra wonderful about getting her nails done. THey are slowly but surely migrating down to a normal alignment. I didn't know if they would or not. Every scrap of the elephant skin is gone. I will never forget when a whole patch of it came off in my hand in the tub. God knows how long it had been there. SHe is fresh, and dewy soft, and supple from the tip of her nose to the end of her tail. She is still a "hot" dog. And I try to do what the holistic vet told me to do with accupressure points. I think when we get the last of her vetting done, it might help that too.

SHe is such a goose Zoom, I can't wait for you to meet her. Last night she had the inside of the couch, Victor was stretched out beside her, and I had the edge. They thought they where very funny, she most of all. Victor has never really cuddled with anyone like that, except Mary. He and Pepper lay together, lean on each other, but with Neccy Victor acts down right babyish. IT's nice to see him nibble her neck and kiss her ears.

Thank you Dixie and Renee.:). I think she is the most wonderful dog. It is triple the pleasure to take her on walks and to have new experiences because she is so excited and joyful. YOu can't be in a bad mood around her. She's a wonderful old goose and should be the poster child for why Senior Dog Adoptions can be worth their weight in gold. I know we only have a few years at the most, but by gosh we are going to make the most of them. When Fall comes, I got some real special places to take her. The others can run ahead, but I know Neccy will walk with me and I am really looking forward to her company.
