There's this dog that we're trying to find a (foster) home for, they have had her since a puppy and say she's a Neapolitan Mastiff. She doesn't strike me as a pure but maybe a mix? I could be completely wrong though.

She honestly looks like most of the poorly bred Neos I've seen (in pictures). Wouldn't strike me if she's pure...but she's definitely not well bred.

She looks much like a "working Neo" as apposed to a show bred Neo, IMO. [IMG]

I always think of Neo's to look like this:

So if that's "well-bred", I think your foster looks better! ;) lol.

But, no really, I have no idea.

Yeah I wouldn't call the average show neo well bred. But yeah she looks like the neo (Dante) that Roger at steeltrap got from Clinton in South africa for his bandog program.

Hard to say considering where she is now they've had her since a puppy.

Thanks for all the input. :)

Maybe is a neo x cane corso mix? if I remember right some BYB were doing this to breed more agile dogs than pure breed neos to do dog fighting.
