Back on "names" topic ... my new-ish neighbor's black Lab is named "Chianti" ... neighbor said she wanted an unusual name and since chianti is a dark wine ....

... they also have a white Chihuahua, and the reference sailed right over neighbor's head when I asked if the Chi's name was "Fava Bean".

As for names, you could always use the name for black from a different language (although not Spanish because that could be considered offensive).
