    I just got an Australian Cattle Dog, it was my grandma's but she gave it to me. Its a male and he is a Blue Heeler, but there is a problem.... i don't know what to name him!! So can someone help me w/ the name game?

    he loves to play, but he is well-behaved. Um...kinda laid back,not scared of anything (i mean it too), but he still likes to play and have fun. I don't know what else to say. Give me questions and I'll answer, but I've never been asked that question before. Sorry

    That's OK, it's just that sometimes it's nice to have a name that matches the dog's personality.

    for ACD's i like typical dog names sort of
    like spike maybe, junior, buster, maybe gilligan, ACD's need those names that sound tough i reckon]

    like butch or frog

    thanks mrose_s. Thats what I want is a short sweet name, but like it means tough or proctective kinda names.

    lol, thats how we got buster, he almost got spike but he was a very wimpy pup, not him anymore. love to see some pics, post again soon

    what about military names? army names? they are kinda tough and protect the cuntry, so what about some names like that? I have a really hard time naming dogs, as you all can tell!!! So please help me out, I'm going to PetsMart later today (maybe) and I want him to have a name by then!!!
