My VFFs are dead.

I got my Speeds about a year ago and I realized last week that I've busted out the side of the toe. Was totally not expecting that. The soles were getting a little wore down, so I thought that'd be the first thing to cause issue, but nope. The fabric on the side of my left big toe (between the toes) is all worn out.

And I'm currently unemployed, so no new shoes for me.

(Mostly just complaining, but also wondering if anyone else has had this issue?)

Contact them!

I busted a pair on the toe and they repaired them for me.

Never had them, but it seems logical they would have that problem for the way some people walk

Sew them up! The toes on mine got holes long before the sole gave out. They're fairly easy to sew up, I double stitched them (by hand) to be sure they'd hold and I never had a problem.

Mine are going strong still after about a year. Most of the wear is at my um.. front sole? The palm of my foot? Whatever... from where I land when I run.
