My uncle's wife (Loves little Boston Terriers!) is going on a trip to Florida today, and has no idea what he's up to. As soon as she's gone, he's driving up to a breeder in North Texas to get the cutest little Red Boston Terrier puppy. Boy is she gonna be surprised when she gets home! I'm hoping to go and see it later tonight if possible. Any suggestions about what would be a good toy or treat to bring for the baby?

If you want to see some pics of the puppy, go to the following site ... click Bostons and scroll down a bit:

If you don't mind my asking, what exactly makes it stand out as a mill?

My uncle's very careful with everything he does, and I just can't see him falling for something like that.

Personally for me, anyone who breeds that many different breeds is in it for the $$$. Responsible breeders concentrate on 1 breed and on rare occasion maybe 2 - this one breeds 4. They are not specific as to what their guarantee is and I'm willing to bet it isn't much. They say absolutely nothing about having done breed specific health testing on the parents. They say nothing about how well their dogs have done in the show ring to show that they are great representations of the breed and measure up to the standards in conformation & temperment.

I suppose when you put it that way, it does sound a bit suspicious. I'm confident though that my uncle would have done his research, he always does. (I know, blind faith may not be a good thing right?)

Well, I got a chance to see the puppy tonight. He looks even better in person. Friendly little guy ... very playful and curious about everything. Looks to be in pretty good health. I feel bad for it though ... his first night in his new home, and we're having a huge thunderstorm. Poor little guy ...

I get more chances to see him this week ... my uncle asked us to come over while he's at work to keep an eye on the little guy. Fun!

I bet he is a cutie!:) I am sure your aunt will be so surprised! I'm sure your uncle already has plans to but make sure he takes the little one to the vet asap for a check up. This is a smart move no matter where the pup comes from. :)

Post pics of the little furguy if you can - we love pics!:D

Well, he's decided to keep his name ... so I know a Beau now! He was born April 9, so he should be ... if my math is correct ... 10 weeks old today.

He said he was taking him to the Vet this week for a checkup and to see when he can get him his Rabies Shots. (Don't think the Vets do them until they're 4-5 Months, IIRC.)

I'll try to get you some pictures ASAP. I would use his camera, but aunt took it to Florida. :(
