I will have to mess with this camera A LOT. It's totally different than my D60, for one thing, there's no auto modes on it.
I was expecting it to be lighter outside, so my ISO was only on 200, so the pics had to be adjusted some. Also, at the time these were taken, I couldn't figure out how to close my aperture more, so...yeah.
Here are my first real shots with the new camera.

This is probably one of my most favorites.
He was using her flirtpole with her.

"Hey, mister. You has mah toy on ur backz."

"I can has, Mister?"

"Look, Little Mister, I sez I CAN HAS!!"

She was getting a talkin' to in this picture. He had just about had enough of her rambunctious ways.

And she's off!

HA! Thanks, guys!
I'm going to mess with it some more. I might have to figure out how to reset the settings on it. Those colors seem like they should "pop" a bit more to me.

Pretty **** good for a first test run. An excellent sequence set too. I'm still jealous!! I just love the way Ella shines. Neither of mine show a lot of their shine :(

Post more!

omg i was KICKING myself for not bringing my camera when we went out today. We were driving in a residential area and there were young deer everywhere. One came up and nuzzled my hand!!! It was AWESOME. They were fuzzy and small and oh so cute. And just feet from my car. An older woman was chucking apples off her balcony and they all came running so I guess she had them pretty tame. Those would have been some awesome shots though!!

It's a good lesson though. To always bring your camera. One my photography teacher tried to teach me... obviously it still hasn't sank in lol

I want to kick myself SEVERAL times for NOT having my camera on me! I went by some workers on strike one day, and I was SOOO mad that I didn't have my camera with me!

GREAT pics! Ella is really shaping up, she looks awesome and your son looks like a sweetheart. Ella is a very good play mate, she's not bowling him down when they toy lands on him lol.

Wow Becca!!! I am literally astounded at the quality of these pictures...a few of those I could have sworn would set up on a sound stage for magazine shots. Just...wow.

*sigh* You're going to make ME upgrade, aren't you? :(
