Hello,
Yesterday my 4 month old puppy who is teething ate a plastic nozzle, I assumed that it would just pass through, but so far it hasn't and today she isn't herself, she is sleepy and isn't even half as energetic as usual... I was just wondering if you had any advice on the situation or if something similar has happened to you?
Thank you,
Louise

What kind of nossle was it (how big). I'd say you sshould take him to the vet ASAP. If it does get lodged in there for too long it can cause parts of the intestine to die. And of course from now on make sure your puppy is not able to have access to small objects.

It was about a centimetre, like off of a spray bottle. I called the vets yesterday and they said that all they could do was to make her sick, but we had awful snow and my friends and family said I was overeacting and dogs eat all kind of stuff they shouldn't. She has perked up a lot now though. I watch her all the time but as soon as you drop something she is there and before you have a chance to pick it up she has run off with it and is trying to swallow it, mischievious puppy!

Call your vet and ask if you can give your dog some laxative to help her gut get this thing out. Needless to say, you have to check her poop to make sure the whole thing gets out.

Minnie eats all kinds of things that she shouldn't to!!!! I was terribly worried when she ate a duster! she was perfectly fine in herself but it took 2 days before she threw it up. I was just about to call the vet and voila she brought it back up with apparently no side affects what so ever. I do hope that your pup passes the nozzle and everything is fine.
