I have always known that once I am out on my own and settled I will be getting anouther dog. So after alot of research and all I have decided on a Clumber Spaniel :D . I will not be getting one for anouther year or two but this gives me plenty of time to research breeders. Of course I want anouther Cocker Spaniel eventually but that will be alittle farther down the road. Of course unless a dog in need comes to me first then of course I will bring that dog home.

The Clumber Spaniel will even live well in the way my living arrangements will most likely be in Vegas. I just seem to have found my niche with Spaniels. I plan on getting a male a maybe possibily showing him :p .

I know its a long way off but im excited and had to share.

Me too :). Their faces have always reminded me of a Saint Bernards. I have been looking into the breed since before we got Maggie. Breeders are so hard to find though :(. Though I have just started its tough. One breeder has offered to list other breeders in the areas im looking at. I have to keep on telling myself not to panic I have plenty of time.

I have been curious about Clumber Spaniel's---love seeing them on dog shows--they are adorable looking.

I love clumbers!! They're so cute and they always seem so mellow and relaxed.

Breeders are so hard to find though
I think I read somewhere that the average wait for a clumber was something like 3-4 years :yikes: :yikes:
The good thing about this breed though is that you don't have to worry too much about getting a *bad* breeder or the dogs ending up with puppy millers, they're pretty darn protective of their breed.

One of my good friends will be getting her Clumber this fall. She is beyond excited. I think it's one of the few breeds that I've never met in person . . .

Oh I LOVE Clumbers and that breed is actually high up on the list of 'possible breeds' for my next dog. :D
Good luck finding a puppy and I agree...you HAVE to post tonnes of pictures for us. :)

Cass.
