This is Ramona (Mona for short though I wish I could change her name lol). She's a HART rescue dog that myself and a friend of mine are co-training for the rescue to help make her more adoptable. My work takes on rescue dogs sometimes for trainers to work on to build more experience with different dogs and I get to have her as my new student. My friend (fellow trainer at work) is helping out since I live kind of far from work so she is going to work with her on days I can't.

We are guessing she might be some sort of kelpie/husky cross but breed guesses are welcome. She's full of energy (and a few bad manners) and she is going to be a lot of fun to train. I worked with her tonight for a little bit just working on some basics and building her focus and she did so well.

Still getting an idea for her temperament, etc and will keep you guys in the loop.

There will be more pics I promise!

Oh look at those eyes! She looks like the dogs that fill our shelters/rescues up here, the husky/greyhound/pointer/whatever else they want to add to breed a faster sled dog for racing.

Wow she does look like a Kelpie/Husky. More information would be great, when you know more :)

That's so great of you to do. I wish we had someone here that did that!

She is gorgeous! Ahem, not that I'm biased toward sled dog mutts or anything, LOL.

Looks like a standard GSD/Sibe mix to me without seeing the rest of her. Lovely mix, I've never met a bad one yet.

Awesome that they are training some dogs to make them more adoptable!

Um, when can I meet her? There was a GSD/Sibe mix in a shelter that I lusted over when I was younger, but was never able to convince my parents to adopt. She reminds me of him.

In my childhood we had Oso a GSD/huskie mix, he was friendly but sadly he was very neurotic wit noises and had severe anxiety problems :(
