My furry family

Hi all,

I joined back in 2010, and promptly forgot all about this place! Go me!

I just rediscovered it, and I've started posting, but I thought I'd introduce my dog pack. I have cats too, but I'll save them for another day.

This is my oldest dog, 19 in September. His name is Loeke (Loki), he's part Newf and part GSD. He's not the nicest of blokes, I adopted him when he was 12, and I've known him since he was 7.

This is Daniel, better known as just Dan. He's 9 and he's a very easy going GSD x Beagle. He's my pound puppy.

Next is my girl Little Jeanie, the puppy mill gal. She was a devil of a puppy, but has grown into a calm and loving lady. She's 6, and she's Beagle x Basset Hound.

And my holy terror, my "Coconut Retriever" Keira. 4 years old, I would guess some sort of sight hound mixed in her, but who knows. She's an Island Dog, right off the streets of Saint Maarten. Generally I just call her a Whippet Mix.

And my long term foster dog, straight off the mean streets of Mexico, King! We're guessing he's about 7 years old, and he's been with me for a year and a half. He's having a hard time learning not to bite people.

In January of 2012 I had to PTS my big, mean lady Tara (aka Tara-Bull). I was her 5th home in less than a year and a half. I had her until she was four, and I left her at a kennel for a weekend...and things went wrong.

In February of 2012 I suddenly lost my big goofy boy Bram. He was only 4.

And lastly my heart dog, who I lost to osteosarcoma in October of 2012. Levon was 6 years old, and a nicer boy you'll never find.

What a gorgeous family you have. I'm so sorry for those who have gone on to be with our loved ones at the rainbow bridge.

I look forward to seeing more of you on Chaz.
