I need to get my act together and get him a number.

The side photo I'm pretty set on. Despite the slobber on his chops.

These are two front photos I took today. I'm not overjoyed by either of them. Opinions?

Freaking dark dogs. Luce was so much easier!

The Shroom has the same problem Tallulah has, I'll bet . . . photos just don't do them justice. Their coloring takes light and makes it wonky, and they won't stand still long enough to use a slower shutter speed so that you can use less bright light and get more good saturation :(

He's such a looker, too, and his color must be marvelously rich to show up the way it does.

ok, rule one of dog photography.

GET ON THEIR LEVEL. Camera lenses above body height are not kind to dogs. This is the single worst mistake most dog photographers make.

Have the camera lens no higher than the point of his chest.

Take photos from a slight angle instead of dead on, esp from an angle slightly towards the front of the dog.

That and ILP pics are supposed to be on the dog's level, not shot down. We don't want the Shroom to get rejected!

The third pic makes me want to make a midnight dog and dash to your house. :D
