Pepe- How he loves to be carried like a puppy, even though he's the biggest of the crew.

Princess- Her 'big dog' attitude.

Princess Mama- She loves to lick people.

Valentino- His ADHD and how he's so aware of everything, from a noise outside to something on the tv, something always catches his interest, but I think that also has to do with his ADHD.

Which one is your friendliest? Both are very friendly to my husband and myself, but pretty anti-social towards strangers

Which one is the most likely to embarrass you in public? Abby. She's got horrible leash manners and will practically strangle herself to get away from something she doesn't like (I need to fit her for a harness)

Snuggles the best? Abby. She's a brat, but she's a cuddlebug.

Be honest. Do you have a favorite? Yes. I love Abby, but Misty is without a doubt my favorite.

Do you have one that you love to hate? Not really. Abby frustrates me, but I can't blame her because it's due to a lack of proper training from an early age.

Sneakiest? Both can be pretty sneaky.

Best trained? Misty. She actually listens when I tell her to do things.

Worst manners? Abby. It's very hard not to lose my patience with this dog.

Oldest? Youngest? Biggest? Smallest? Abby is 6 years old and weighs approx. 35-40 pounds. Misty is 11 months old and weighs approx 55-60 pounds.

Has the best sense of humor? Misty. She's a total goofball.

Most likely to succeed? Misty, because I did a better job of training her than I did with Abby.

Name each of your dogs' most and least favorite thing/activity. Abby loves to chase the cats, wrestle with the puppy, and play with her stuffed frog. She hates going outside. The answers for Misty are actually pretty much identical.

Describe a special quirk for each of your dogs Abby loves to try to steamroll the puppy when they play. It worked for her when Misty was smaller than her, and she's determined that it'll still work now that Misty is almost twice her size. Misty likes to sleep in the small dog bed that she used to fit in as a puppy, even though there is a perfectly good and much larger bed right next to it.

Ilsa. She makes a career of proving me wrong.

Oddly enough... Ronin.

RONIN, hands down!

Ilsa - she's my heart dog, I don't know what I'll ever do without her.

Ada, definitely. But she's more of my fiance's favorite. I'm the one that feeds her, walks her, takes care of her, trains her... but she's still more of my fiance's dog than she is mine. And she's naughty.

Ilsa - she's the Queen of Sneak.

Best trained?
Ilsa knows more, but Ronin is more biddable. It's really a tossup, but I'd have to say Ronin. Since he actually enjoys training, he's more reliable with what he knows.

Worst manners?
Gosh, they all can have pretty bad manners at times!

Ada - corgis are the masters of humor!

I think Ronin takes the cake with this - he's already come so far, it woudl take a miracle for the other two to top him.

All of them! Ilsa and Ronin would leave something alone if told, Ada would take it anyway. But... Ronin is the worst when it comes to blatant theft, he tries to use his big sweet eyes on you, while he tries to sneak a lick of your pasta!

Ilsa - most favorite is chewing on yummy stuff, least favorite is baths.

Which one is your friendliest? Jack. He has never met a stranger, be it man or beast.

Which one is the most likely to embarrass you in public? Jack. Once at a parade he stuck his nose up the back of a woman's shorts and totally goosed her. Luckily she was a dog lover with a sense of humor.


Snuggles the best? Sally. She's quite the snuggler.

Be honest. Do you have a favorite? Honestly, no. I just love them in different ways (I know that sounds like a cop-out, but it's not)

Do you have one that you love to hate? No, love them both.

Sneakiest? Definitely Sally. jack is shameless--he will misbehave right in front of you.


Best trained? Depends on what it is. Jack has better dog manners and a better recall, but Sally has a better stay and better response time to commands.

Worst manners? They both have bad manners at times--they are equally guilty of things like begging, etc. Sally is a bigger jumper than Jack.


Oldest? Youngest? Biggest? Smallest? Sally is the oldest--she's nearly 5 yrs and Jack is the youngest at 2.5 yrs. Jack is taller and heavier than Sally--he is around 60 lbs and she is around 55 lbs.

Has the best sense of humor? Jack. He is the less serious of the two, although Sally has her moments.

Most likely to succeed? Depends on what they are succeeding at. If it's catching critters, it would be Sally--she got 4 birds, a raccoon, and a possum this year. She is also much easier to have in the house than Jack. If we are talking obedience class type stuff, Jack tends to do better just because he is not as reactive to dogs as Sally and can therefore focus better. I also think that he will pass his CGC with a little more work, while Sally can be timid with strangers, and I'm not sure that she would.

Most likely to sneak something off your plate when you leave the room? Sally. Jack will do it right in front of you.

Name each of your dogs' most and least favorite thing/activity. Sally's favorite is playing with her Jolly Ball--she loves it so much that we have to restrict access. Her least favorite is baths. She hates them and does the hang dog look the whole time.

Jack's favorite activity hands down is eating. His least favorite is getting his ears cleaned.

Sally will go after furry critters but reptiles freak her out. She has come across a tortoise and various toads, and is perplexed each time. She does this funny creeping up real close and then jumping back thing. She *really* jumps back when the toads hop away.

Jack eats stuff. Not just edible stuff either. He has eaten socks, underwear (had surgery for that), stuffy fuzz and a dryer sheet.

Best trained? I think they all know about the same number of useless tricks, but none of them are well trained to do everyday stuff

Hm... Sophie likes all people (except he mailman) and she has great manners, like the attention but doesn't need it. Mac can be defensive, but once she gets over that she has "zomg your the greatest person EVA!" thing going for her

Sophie, she likes the take craps int eh most innapropriate places.

Harry, hands down. best cuddling dog I've ever met.

Ofcourse, Buster. But if he and Harry still got on, I would have a very hard time not wanting to steal Harry away. I just adore him.

Do you have one that you love to hate?
...Mac. I do love her but she drives me mad. Although sometimes, she can be a real sweetie.

Hm... well Sophie probably has the best manners but thats just her temperment

Harry has amazing manners considering how many issues he has, HR and DA and such and yet he can still be walked through town and not react.

Mac knows a lot of tricks but has very few manners, doesn't come when called and such.

Buster has his DA problem, but his recall is great ( I called him the other day when he was in the middle of a poo, next thing he comes waddling maddly up from the backyard trying to multitask. lol. He has also improved heaps with his leash skills and nearly always comply's when I ask him to do something.

Harry ofcourse, when he gets super excited he jumps in the air and wiggles at the same time. 30kg of writhing dog launching itself off the ground in excitement is adorable

Morgan. Tyr is pretty close, as long as you're not a threat.

That depends - when I was trialing, Morgan. She had her own ideas of how to do obedience. Ares is the one who likes to show off how untrained a titled dog can be these days.

My favorite changes depending on my mood. If I wanna cuddle, Morgan's my favorite, if I'm looking for the team feeling of performance training with a dog, Ares is my fave. If I'm in a setting where I feel the need for protection, I adore Tyr. My curiosity is most piqued by Nyx. And on any given days I wanna wring the neck of at least one of them :lol-sign:

Nope. If I really disliked one, I'd rehome them.

Ares!! He has all sorts of ways to check and see if I'm watching him before going off to get into things.

Best trained?
Ares had the most training, but being retired, I've let a lot of it slide, so now Tyr is the best performer, even though he doesn't even know half of what Ares learned.

Ares - Wags his tail harder for strangers than for people he knows
Morgan - Drools. Constantly.
Tyr - spins his tail in a circle (HEY MROSE!!! I am so glad to know there's another dog that does this!!)

Amos...hands down. He's my Bart Simpson/Dennis them Menace all rolled into one.

Amos and Sophie...it's a draw. Lola loves to be next to you but will panic if anyone other than me tries to cuddle her. Tinker tolerates snuggles but would prefer to just be in the same room with you....in front of her fireplace.

I adore all of my dogs but my heartdog passed away just over 1 week ago. I'm very close to all 4 of them, each in a different and special way. Sophie really is my best girlfriend and goes with me everywhere.

Do you have one that you love to hate?

Not really. Amos is a goofy little monster but I can't say that I'm ever mad at him.

Sneakiest?

Amos and Sophie. Sophie really knows how to manipulate situations..she's a total brain, with a goofy side.


Best trained?

Shamefully, Sophie by leaps and bounds. I really think that Amos could be amazing if his dang owner would get off of her duff and get a little creative with his training.

Worst manners?

Lola for sure. Lola has no manners WSE, but that's only because she'll do anything to be a flirt.(and I've never discouraged her) Lola has the biggest heart and nothing but sweetness in her personality. Her poor manners are part of her charm.

Tia was my oldest at 18 years... Lola is the youngster. Sophie weighs more than all the others combined...THREE TIMES OVER. Wee Tinker is the smallest at well under 2 lbs. Her little body has really suffered for her tiny stature.

All of them really but Sophie seems to really 'get' things. If she does something that makes you laugh, she'll repeat with gusto trying to 'one up' herself..

Most likely to succeed?

Again Sophie, only because I spent a ton of time training her everything from OB to very complex behaviors.

Most likely to sneak something off your plate when you leave the room?

None of them. Sophie has gotten a few things that were left out and truly showed no signs of being 'off limits' and never off of a plate.. If any of them were left with my plate, I really doubt that they'd ever sneak. Wait..................................................did anyone see my porkchop?:yikes:

Name each of your dogs' most and least favorite thing/activity.

Sophie loves our daily park outing and just can't live without her purple ball (holee molee extreme - interactive treat ball). Her least favorite thing is slippery surfaces. Amos and Lola both freak out for their cat toy, the one with a squeeker on a string at the end of a stick. They could live without nail clipping but are fine with it. Tinker lives for sun spots and her new fireplace. Her least favorite thing is to brave the -30 c. for her bathroom breaks.

Describe a special quirk for each of your dogs

Tinker's way to tell you that she needs something is to approach you in a full on combat crawl (trained behavior) dragging one leg very dramatically. Amos MUST be touching me when snuggling. If I move a 1 mm., he'll adjust himself that 1 mm just to regain body contact. Lola's entire personality is a quirk. She had a very bad start in life and shows so many coping behaviors even when she's totally relaxed. Licking everything, but especially cloth is one that makes me feel sad for her. Sophie tells me when it's time for something that is a routine in her day....and I really mean that she TELLS me. I swear, you can almost make out the words, never a bark but actual talking...it's my most favorite behavior

Which one is the most likely to embarrass you in public? None they all become angels when they are in the spotlight.

Snuggles the best? Nutmeg but only at night during the day there is a no touch law. Although Lady is a close second.

Love loves to walk in the woods, and loves to play fetch/ she loves jumping hurdles and playing with her stuffie

She hates WATER!!!

Lady she loves walking in the woods/through our hay field. She likes to herd cows, Fetch is ok but only when its her Idea. She loves snuggling on the couch. But most of all she loves car rides. And she loves to "adopt" dogs as her "babies"

She hates my camera and being bathed.

Nutmeg..she loves being lazy exept when it comes to playing with Lady or when she "hunts" rabbits. She loves to beg for food and will even nod her head yes if you ask her if she is hungry.

Which one is your friendliest? Spring and Keira are about equal I think. Spring's not as reserved as Keira though.

Which one is the most likely to embarrass you in public? Keira.. although Spring completely embarrassed me today, lol.

Snuggles the best? Spring... Dance is a close second though.

Keira's favourite is wrestling with other dogs, and her least favourite activity is getting her nails dremeled (she's terrible). Spring's favourite activity is snuggling, and least favourite is... honestly, I don't know. She doesn't seem to not enjoy anything.

SHYE IS MY MOST DOMINANT DOG BUT HE DISPLAYS THE MOST PASSIVE, RESPECTFUL BEHAVORS. HE WALKS UP AND ROLLS ON HIS BACK AND JUST LAYS THERE WAITING FOR PETS.
RIVER IS FAST. SNEAKY FAST. MOM DOESN'T LIKE KISSES ON THE LIPS BUT IF I DO IT QUICK SHE CAN'T GET MAD RIGHT? FAST.... HE LOVES PUTTING HIS FEET UP. IT'S AMAZING HOW EASY TEACHING HIM "SHAKE HANDS" WAS.

To other people, Dutch. Sofie loves everyone she gets to know, though. To me, Sofie loves to be close, whereas Dutch is more of a "OK, your there, I'm going to go do my own thing now."

Which one is the most likely to embarrass you in public?
Sofie. Right now everyone shrugs Dutch's antics off as him being a puppy.

Sofie, hands down.

Sofie will always be "my" girl, but I will have to say, Dutch, even though I've had him for such a short period of time. He reminds me so much of a previous family dog and we are so "in tune" with each other most of the time.

Sofie, Dutch is clumsy and obvious.

Both. Dutch will do it obvious, and will keep licking the plate even when you walk back in whereas Sofie will be in the opposite corner pretending she's asleep.

Dutch: Favorite thing - SOCKS, he has a foot fetish. Least thing - leashes/collars. Favorite activity - running around the park and meeting new people and dogs. Least favorite activity - Leash training, lol.
Sofie: Favorite thing - FOOD. Least thing - Empty food bowl. Favorite activity - zoomies through the yard. Least favorite activity - Riding in her basket on the back of the bike.

Dutch: His legs and paws are bigger than his body at this point, so he's horribly clumsy and is constantly tripping/falling over himself. If he's being held, he will tell you he wants down by making these gurgling/god-awful sounds. It sounds like I am strangling him.
Sofie: Sofie has to be touching you in bed, and if you get her excited she can't control herself and will do all of her "tricks" all at once (roll over, do the wave with both paws up, circus poodle, and then will sit and repeatedly wave at you).

Fozzie... definitely!!! He is the snuggliest puppy in the world. Gonzo will snuggle for a minute, then he goes off to lay down alone. He isn't very touchy feely, while Fozzie is happy to fall asleep on anyone's lap... or shoulder... or feet... etc.

Yes. Gonzo is my favorite, ever, of all time. Because I'm his everything and I can always count on him.

I don't really hate either of them...
they both have their moments, though.

Fozzie.
He can open cupboards. He has a fixation with food. Enough said!

Best trained?
Gonzo, TOTALLY! He will obey any command, at any moment, and he's happy being rewarded with nothing but a "good boy". While Fozzie will obey commands after thoroughly investigating the value of the treat on hand. The first one can be a freebie, but if he realizes I don't have yummy stuff after that, his interest will disappear.

Worst manners?
Both of them are surprisingly well-mannered.
But Fozzie is a pretty terrible beggar... he will stare longingly and, if you have mac n cheese, he will rest his head on your knee/foot, leave a puddle of drool, and if that doesn't work he will attempt to shake your hand (alternating paws) for about 5 minutes.

Gonzo is the oldest, and the biggest height-wise.
Fozzie is the youngest, and the biggest weight-wise.

Fozzie! He loves making people laugh, and he does the silliest things. We play games with each other, and give each other dirty looks jokingly, all of the time.

It depends on WHAT.
Fozzie is most likely to succeed at getting morbidly obese.
Gonzo is most likely to succeed at saving my life when I'm swept away in a river... or I fall into a well... etc.

Oh, Fozzie, fosho. They never touch plates with food on them, but occasionally, if a dirty plate is left out on the coffee table he will sneak a lick. I think he can tell that we're done and he doesn't think it's THAT big of a deal.

Gonzo loves being around other dogs... the ones that he likes, he loves to wrestle with. The ones that he dislikes, he loves to angrily herd. He isn't too happy about not being allowed to do either.
Fozzie loves chasing/biting hoses, a lot. It's his one obsession in life besides cheetos. He really, strongly dislikes riding in the car. He doesn't make a fuss about it... but he lays on the floor and scrunches into a ball, and there will be HELL to pay if another dog disturbs him at all in the car.

Gonzo has a skunk fetish.
Fozzie makes an assortment of grunty noises for various occasions.
