Mom-less Kittens

I went to visit family this weekend, my cousin is in school to become a vet tech, she is almost done and her class is fostering a litter of kittens whose mother was killed by a car when they were only four days old.

I helped her feed and bathe them and they were sooo adorable. I so wanted to keep them, it was not good...lol

Just thought I would share... I plan to put pictures of them up in the next few days... just tired now from the trip..

They are already a little over 2 weeks old... they are all growing... they are eating and even beginning to go to the bathroom on their own.

Im pretty sure they will make it.

I had never bottle fed a kitten before, or held a kitten that tiny. They were soo cute... it is just so sad that they lost their mom at such a young age.

I saw some one week old kittens at the SPCA one day too, they were being bottle fed and washed. So adorable. Can't wait to see pics

On a side note, one of my cats back in France was found in a box at 2 weeks old in front of my neighbor's door (she's always taking care of kittens and finding them homes), and he grew up handsome and really cuddly (we got him at 4 weeks). He was all over the neighbor everytime she came visit though, that was too funny.

I've bottlefed kittens from a few days old onward before. Such a rewarding experience!

I have two cats a boy and a girl the girl named whiskers just had a litter of kittens but hid them outside any suggestions
