I've been eyeing these guys a while. They're gorgeous and close to me (lol, no new dogs for me though!). They're listed as pure papillons, but there is something so NOT papillon in them. I can't put my finger on it. One looks almost border collie to me and the other looks somewhat sheltie.

Badly bred paps vary a LOT but I've never ever seen any with faces like these two.

    What do you think?

The black/white one reminds me of a Pap/Sheltie cross. The other, I don't know, but it would be a stretch for a full Pap even from a BYB or mill.

First one does look somewhat BCish, but both really look like Papillon/Sheltie crosses.

Doubt they're purebreds but cute little doggies nonetheless. :)

The first one reminds me of a dog we had at FOHA for about, oh three seconds. She looked just like a tiny border collie. Makes me wonder if she had papillon in her. She was adopted by a volunteer, so next time he brings his dogs I will get a picture.

I agree that neither of those dogs look purebred. The first looks pap/sheltie like someone else said, and I'm not sure what the second one looks mixed with.

Sadly, I think that first one *might* be an illbred purebred Pap..
the second one kind of looks like an Icelandic Sheepdog almost lol

    *sigh*

Poor little things, hopefully they find some homes soon.
