Let me explain. I volunteer at a shelter (Friends Forever Animal Shelter) and today was one of the days I help out there. There weren't many people helping today, just me and Lucy (one of the shelter vets). Well last week we received a dog which we named Missy because of her temperament. She didn't like anyone thats why the owner gave her up. She was growling and snapping but soon settled in the shelter and became friendly with us. We had NO IDEA she was pregnant but this morning at around 9 am, I was watching Belly (I always take her with me) and one of the newcomer pup romp around. Lucy came running to me saying Missy is having puppies! I called my dad to help and he arrived in a couple of minutes. To make a long story short, Missy had (with the help of me, Lucy and my dad) 3 healthy, beautiful puppies. I don't know what to say! I'm back home now, and I just wanted to share this experience with you guys. Unfortunately, I didn't have a camera at the time but next week I'll post some pics. The babies are tiny and sooo cute!
