A few weeks ago I saw this one:
Belton Malamar (German Breed)
Makes me cringe, because you know those dogs are going to be disasters.

There is a thread on the News page about it; sadly, it has been proven false, because it was one of the funniest things I've heard in a while!

Back on topic, a common one I see is Welch Corgis. You also see Welch Ponies a lot. I always think, "mmm, grape flavored!".

I think the Chiwawa drives me nuts the most. Another that is really annoying, my teacher who was a Pom breeder and showed them and had champions at dog shows and stuff, says Weimerimer instead of Weimaraner. It drives me nuts! someone in the class even was like "wait I thought it was Weimaraner?" and my teacher said no its Weimerimer :lol-sign:

Oh yeah. And this guy that used to come in to PetCo when I worked there called Dogos "Dagos." Somebody else was talking to me in Home Depot when the husband and I were there looking at chain link panels to build a kennel. He started telling me about the King Corso, and how a breeder he was talking to guaranteed 200 pounds or something like that in the first year.

Lol when I was at the National Dog Show in long beach someone seriously asked one of the breeders if their breed came from Burma!!! There was a moment of silnece after that as everyone turned to see how the breeder would act. She turned to the man and said "It's pronounced BerNese".

Papillon cannot be spelled by the majority of people, I've decided.

Pappilion, Papillion, Pappillion, Papilion, Papilon

Boarder collie always makes me laugh. And ditto Laurelin, I've yet to meet many people who can spell (or pronounce) Papillon. I met a "breeder" who called them pa-pill-ons.
