Katie, you did really really good! One VERY happy papillon here, lol.

I found the package on the porch this evening and brought it inside under the tree. It was already dark out so I decided we'd open it tomorrow when it was light. But Mia would absolutely NOT leave the package alone so I gave in. I don't know if it was all the treats she could smell, but she was going to tear into it whether I liked it or not.

Working on opening it:

Peering inside...

2 videos.

This one is FUNNY! Mia thinks the ball landed in the tree.

And then opening her gift (she really tears into it!)

Thanks so much!

Love the ball high, lol! Violet wouldn't know what to do with that many tennis balls.

Too cute. Its bad of me, but in the video where Mia is half in the box and growls is cute. Poor Summer was like what did I do?

Are we taking bets on when Mia is going to be found in the tree?

I have by noon today.
Oh I hope not! I've already found several ornaments that have been removed from the lower branches and taken someplace else. I wonder how this is happening? lol It's my first year with her that I have a tree. She thinks it's toys for her.

Me too! I was dying laughing.

OMG Sako would be mind blown with that..he'd sell his soul for a tennis ball!
Katie really did pick out the best possible gift for her.

As far as I'm concerned, everyone needs a Mia of their own. She's hilarious and I agree, very cute even when she's being annoying.

No not at all. That made me laugh too. xD Poor Summer has a redneck sister.

Mia looks like she's in heaven with all of those tennis balls!

The videos were hilarious :D

I'm glad you guys liked the videos. I thought they were pretty funny. Mia is really entertaining sometimes. :lol-sign:

Oh btw - what size are those? I'm thinking they might be perfect "bait" for Sako in the ring. He gets sick of food, but NEVER gets sick of tennis balls!

Those are the x-small. Mia's so tiny she needs the smallest ones possible. I'd be afraid a bigger dog would swallow one whole.

Yeah that's the size my sister uses. Whenever I visit we have to rather them all up so I don't end up at the E-vet with one of my dogs. If you get your BC you'll have to be careful...

Is it weird that is one of my biggest concerns about getting a bigger dog? We'll just have to have separate ball playing time.

But that means I have to find all the hidden tennis balls first.

We don't have a tree this year for that very reason. I am fairly certain Gusto would find a way to turn it into The Best Toy Ever.

No not at all, that would be one of mine as well lol. Though I don't leave balls out now anyway because a certain someone gets totally obsessive. And a small dog could play with a lot of the same stuffies as the big ones, just would have to hold on to edges instead of the whole thing...

Although in my sister's dog's case if there is a tattered normal-sized tennis ball she is good to go. Just grabs the loose edge and hauls it around that way lol. This is the only pic I have of her that sort of shows her size. She's a munchkin.
