You can use baby nail clippers at first - that's what I did with Auggie, he was just too tiny for regular clippers. If you're too nervous, your vet can do it for you!
I have cat nail clippers so I used those. Nina just sat there and let me clip them.
Peanut ran when he saw them. :lol-sign:

So adorable :)

I know, whats done is done, but after all you've learned here you went with some puppy classifieds? *shrug*

No one said anything bad. Your puppies are cute as all get out, I was just wondering what made you go with the puppy classifieds instead of going with a reputable breeder like the countless people here helped you look for and decide on a breed.

Ok everyone.
The puppies were free, we went to see them because I figured it wasn't any different than going to a shelter. I was not supporting a BYB as no money was exchanged.

The fact that you went against everyone's advice and got not one but two young puppies out of the classifieds instead of going to a shelter/rescue and getting to know some adult dogs and their temperaments, or buying from a reputable breeder who knows what they're doing, is what disappointed us. I wasn't going to say anything either, because honestly I don't know what to tell you that hasn't been said before.

I really do wish you the very best with Nina, and your dad the best with Logan. I hope your little girl is everything you hoped for, and I look forward to seeing her grow up!

Sorry I disappointed yall. I dont have thousands or hundreds of dollars to spend on a dog from a breeder.
I am glad you want to see her grow up but I dont like being told its a shame I got a pup the way I did.

ROFL .... You couldn't go to a rescue group? While their are thousands of dogs in shelters are in death row not to mention the ones in killed shelters such as "pound"

Taking another peek at the pups I'm looking at a real serious health problems in the future.

Also lemme tell you this. I learned my lesson when I had my Miniature Schnauzer from getting her out of a classified that was the cheap route, I was only 16-17 years old.

I will never go though that again! Yes, I loved Misty with all of my heart! BUT -- what I got was a sick puppy/dog in my lifetime.

For now on in the future I'll be sticking with rescuing

Really I don't see how taking these pups is any diff from getting pups from a shelter. The owners who were giving the pups away for FREE (so no byb here). If the owners had taken the pups to the shelter (where the shelter would have had to house them and feed them etc etc) and Dakotah had gotten them then, would that have been ok?

Really I am more impressed by owners who have oops litters and take the responsibility to find homes, vs just dumping their problems on a rescue or shelter.
