Meet Ben!
8 month old Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog.
I am training this guy for UKC Conformation (his first show is on the 21st in Shelton), and his older friend, same breed, named Maddie for UKC Obedience. He's a total sweetheart, a wonderful representation of the breed, and doing fabulous with training already. He grasps everything so quickly, and is very food motivated. I have him until Tuesday, and then he is going home for a while to practice training with his owner, and then coming back next week. He's a total sweetie, loves to cuddle, has to be right next to you, and is attached to my hip. He loves playing fetch, and chase. He's crate trained, and has a mind of his own. Typical Houla. He's a great little guy, clumsy on his big feet.
I picked Elly up from my uncle's and took Ben, Georgia & Elly for a nice long hike. He has endless energy, but seems to be pooped at the end of the day.

And his eyes are really cool, I agree. Half of the eye is a really light blue, and the other half is brown.
