PS, Eve is nice to Dusk but I'm still not sure on how she is with stranger-dogs, so she'd attend with her trusty muzzle just in case.

I do have to see if Tony and I can get off work for a few days. We both work retail so everything leading up to black friday is iffy.

We're on a maybe list now, Denis' new job means a 6 month probationary period with no vacation. If we can switch handlers I may jump Sloan or if Backup and or Moo get an invite it'll still be optional for me.

    Super bittersweet.

Alas, 5 hours of drive time is a bit too much for me. :( Totally wish I could go, though.

I'm both happy and mad at the same time. It's an odd feeling.

darn I didn't realize it was so far east.

I would maybe possibly go. Kind of depends on work, looks like that would be my weekend to work but I'm hoping to have a different job by then. =P Juno would come with although I'm a little afraid of how she'd be in a hotel lol.

Darn... Don't think I can afford it, especially since Sis and I will be in Chicago (near Northwestern Univ.) the first weekend in Nov. Pretty sure it's that weekend, still have to check the competition dates for the fencing tournament. (Sis fences and I walk all over Evanston with Riley - will probably bring the scooter, too, so he can run along the lakefront.)

Take lots of pics of the meet-up, please!

I'm in! I don't know if I would be taking both of mine or not though. If I drive by myself...maybe. If I go with my friend who might go with, then I would only be bringing Nico. Both of mine are dog friendly, though Saga is a bit better, but Saga DEFINITELY can't do offleash unless it is in a very secure, enclosed space.

Anyone still interested in this? It doesn't sound like we have any chazzers attending the dock diving event anymore.

Is there any event still happening there, or was it just the dock diving? I still think it's a cool idea but if it's not tied to an event the time and place could be more flexible if it means more people would be interested.

I think it should still happen! Sadly as if money wasn't enough of an obstacle, I landed a job starting nov5 and doubt i can take time off that soon. :-/

Shamoo has 3 invites and each of the mals have 1. I'm frustrated we can't go but alas we got the move we wanted so I'm sure there is our balance.

The dock diving is the only event going on. And I will throw this out there, I had read (don't know if it's 100% valid) that spectators are only allowed for Finals Sat and Sun, and there might be admission fees. Just a heads up to check it out if anyone was still planning to go watch Worlds.

Wish we were going! Hopefully next year!

The dock diving was too far for me to go, but if we do another meetup elsewhere, I am still game to try and make it.

Any ideas for a location? I'm usually up for a road trip!

There was a poll awhile back and Kansas City MO was an option for a lot of people, I dunno if that's still possible for everybody or not. I'm not sure if we have anybody who still lives there who could figure out where we could meet.

Chicago is probably another good option but we're getting to the time where anywhere outside in the Midwest is going to be freezing, plus I'm not sure how many people really want to do Chicago driving. Western suburbs of Chicago are definitely the better option as far as driving goes... I know there's a big dog beach in Chicago but you have to apply to get tags to go. Or at least you're supposed to. =P
