D'oh flipped Ivan and Ellis after I c/p'd the links. Thanks :)

Yup, he's extremely pleased (and thankful for the direction) with Q. He's a really nice dog, now if only his dad would show that in IPO instead of just DD. LOL JK

(I'm actually going to start helping him in agility for the fun of it. I'll be interested to see how he comes along)
I was wondering about that- when he got him he was SO gung ho, IPO only, none of the "other" things. Now I see ALL "other" things and no IPO lol.

Hey, as long as he is doing stuff with the dog, it doesn't matter.

I had Q's dad here for almost a year a few years back. He is a VERY tough dog, nice grips, crazy drive, yet social.

Yeah, he's ready for his 1 honestly, he needs to go for it. I think he has been torn about going for a 1 or an APr since our tracking access is so limited and it's become very hard to proof things (we have *no* dirt and only small grass).

I'm sure though he'll go soon enough, he won't let Denis and Sloan title first. :p

Plus he's having fun with the Dock Dogs, the dog is a natural, I mean in his second or third competition he hit something like 24.11. They've been having some issues on the dock which put them back a bit but now that they're gaining their confidence back and I'm excited to see what else they can hit. I assume it's hard not to be hooked when you're dog can fly. lol

Oh and the "other" things are totally our fault. We've corrupted his bitework only soul. He may never share this (mwahaha) but I even got him to do a fun match conformation event with me, he had fun and his dog beat my male, only to be beaten by our female and then he walked away and said, no more. LOL

I just wanted to wish you good luck in your search! The one thing I learned with my two is that even pups from the same parents can vary greatly in personality and temperament! (and looks lol) So make sure your breeder (if you go that route) can read the puppies well and can give you what you are looking for.

I imagine after I sift through all of these breeders I'll be sending a few emails to the closer ones and Adrienne asking about future breeding, what they're expecting the pups to be like, what the parents are like both on and off the field, work ethic ect.

I've met quite a few police mals that are very very I guess not social dogs. I don't want that really. I don't mind a dog that doesn't want to meet people (Knox is like that and I prefer it actually to Enzo who loves everyone) but I don't really want a dog that is very stranger danger I will bite you if you look at me wrong.

I want a dog that has good work ethic, willing to try anything, go anywhere and I want that drive that it seems like only mals possess.
