Male or Female?!!

I remembered this today, I think it had something to do with the Gay dog thread.
My Auntie had a dog called Bl**dy Thing, and she/he was both male and female! She/he had both sets of sexual organs although the vet said she was actually classed as a female because she had a womb.
My Auntie was a first time dog owner and when she and my uncle went to pick a puppy all the other puppies rushed forward as they do to greet them but Bl**dy Thing sat at the back on her own and barked! So they picked her!! They thought she would be a good guard dog! Of course they didn't know much about dogs, not even enough to know that you don't pick the anti social one!!
It was a nightmare because when they went to obedience classes of course all the males were interested in her but so were the females!! Apparently she had the scent of a male dog! Really odd! When she was in season they used to have to put her out in the car (obviously not when it was really hot!!) because both male and female dogs would storm their house!! She incidently loved it in the car, she liked to bark at all the other dogs!!!

Really odd dog!! The vet was quite amazed by her!!

She was a bit freeky!! I think really she shouldn't have been sold as a pet as it was unfair to my Auntie and Uncle, especially as they were novice dog owners!! But I don't know if someone with loads of dog experience would have known what to do with she/he/it!!

I have absolutely no idea!!! It was spayed I think?!! Oh can you imagine the offspring from a dog like that!!

I was just curious as to if it would be spayed or neutered and if it was spayed so it could not get pregnant did that mean he/she couldn't get another dog pregnant using it's male organs because there was no way it could produce both ways? I just wondered if he/she had to be neutered too. Sorry, I am just being curious. And probably confusing.

No you're not being confusing! I don't think he/she had to be neutered (with his male organs!) I don't think she was actually producing the necessary elements! but i'm not sure!!

Oh i've heard of that. I read it somewhere that some dogs can be male and female. I think that is why my next door neighboor dog is a female even though it has a penis. hahaha
