Is it just me, or is Sawyer small? It's hard to tell, but he looks the same size as Keiko?

He's taller than Keiko. He's 60lbs. In those pictures in the yard its kinda slanted so he looks smaller than he really is. If he is standing next to me his back comes above my knee by quite a bit. I don't have to lean to pet him ect. But im 5'4.

He's a tiny bit shorter than his dad (english Lab) really its barely noticable. And his mom is about his size height wise (field Lab). I think he still may grow a bit since he's just a bit over 1 year old. Or he may always be a shorter Lab.

Or it might be that I'm just so used to seeing over-weight and ginormous labs. It's refreshing to see a lab that is fit and trim!

Aaww! Caleb lays the same way. I get the same looks from Caleb that Sawyer has in so many of your pictures.

I'm betting he'll grow a little more, too. It sounds like Sawyer is about the same size Caleb was at that age. Now, at almost 3, Caleb is right smack in the middle of the height standard for a male Lab, and just a little over the minimum weight. Unfortunately, there are so many grossly over standard Labs out there now that most people think that's the norm.
