I'm so sorry for your loss, I always enjoyed pictures of Maddy :(

Please don't blame yourself - I've always thought your greyhounds were the luckiest I've ever seen.

I am so sorry. Your post made me cry. It wasn't your fault. Accidents happen all the time, some worse than others. You cannot pin all the blame on yourself. You are a great owner that takes great care and pride in your dogs; everyone can see that. Maddy is looking down at you lovingly for giving her so much of yourself to her as she did for you. Maddy loves you very much and her presence in you will never be forgotten.

I am so sorry.

I was so sorry to read this. However never doubt yourself, you loved her and she loved you and she went doing what she loved the most. She will be running to be back with you at the bridge and always in your heart untill you meet again.

Oh no poor baby! :( sorry to hear this.

She lived a short life, but I'm sure those couple of years were more enjoyed by her than other dogs that don't have luck to get a good owner, this dogs live many years but in a miserable condition as being forgotten in a backyard, cages or feral lives.

I'm so terribly sorry for such a tragic accident...a really freak accident. It was not your fault. You can't keep a dog in a protective bubble. If you had her on a leash, she wouldn't have experienced the sheer joy she did on those walks where she could run and explore better than on a leash. She did what she was bred to do and loved every minute of it. Her sweet life was cut short, but I think she lived it to the fullest with an owner who gave her a terrific life. There's really nothing I can say to help. I do know that only time and memories will lighten the load and take the edge off. There's no rushing it, that's for sure. My heart goes out to you at this very difficult and painful time. (((hugs)))
