My puppy Oreo (now 4 months old) today, i've noticed his bowel sounds are quite loud (louder than usual). sound like wet farting noises inside his stomach, but he's not having any flatulence (Gas) ... he's eating fine, he pooped today as well and he's still hyper and happier than ever.

I dont know if this is normal.. i don't know what to do because i also just got a new puppy and don't have enough for vet bills - only for check-up... :(

do the vet's office make you pay everything up front? or can they bill you? i want to go to another one because this place makes you pay up front for everything. :(

any advice? has anyone's pup did this?

*also he had his last set of shots yesterday and giardia.. but i don't think it has anything to do with it, because he had the same shots last month too and he was fine.

Shiva and Kharma made sounds like that sometimes when they were [relatively] little. I'd give them some yoghurt and it would quiet down.

It's stopped completely now that they're eating the EVO.

i still have to order it from the pet store today and id on't know when it would come in.. do you think i could use the regular innova, since the bag of canidae is all gone?

and what kind of yogurt can i give him? like regular yogplait? or whichever?

also do you think the sounds could be maybe constipation? lol i don't know just a thought although he is making a bowel movement.. just maybe?

If they don't have the EVO, try the regular Innova.

Any kind of yoghurt with active cultures will work. The Yoplait is good - that's what I always buy, anyway, lol!

You can always add a little flax seed oil to his food if you think he might be constipated.

See if there is a humane soceity vet service in your town or nearby. It is a 20 minute drive to ours, but if it wasn't for them i couldn't have either one of my dogs. The vets are the best, the office charge is 5 dollars instead of 50..the medicine is at cost..not profit. mary's eye surgery cost 35 dollars and that included the medicine. They had to knock her out too! They have even given me a hardship price and made way for payments when times were extra ruff.
