I have no idea why, but I've always really liked Amanda. She seems so sweet. She may be the total opposite, but she looks the part at least. Feel free to send her over here. ;)

And Fawnie! I can definitely see a lot of her in Rumor. Her head and expression, and even her personality. Or, at least, how it comes through in the photos.

I loved them all. :D

Oh, and my guess is, um, 11.

They are all stunning...I've never seen one like Fawnie before.

I remember now from last time I was a member here....this forum always makes me really fall in love with Dobes! Although I think it would be one breed left as fantasy for me, I don't think I have the energy ;)

What a gorgeous crew! That is a wonderful, beautiful dream..........wake up to a herd of dobies, LOL, Ahhhhhhhhhh I would have to pinch myself daily to be sure I was awake :D

I will guess Pride is 12 1/2 years old, but NOT because she looks like it AT ALL! (because you said Caitlin was close, LOL)

Can I change my guess? How about 13?
Dun dun dun dun dun dun DUNNNNN! Caitlin is CORRECT! Pride is 13, and doesn't show it.... I'm always flabbergasted to see her "kickin' it with the young'uns", but she continues to amaze me. She doesn't even have very much visible silver on her muzzle. Then again, Ilsa's grandpa Demand had a rich, dark muzzle when he died at 11, so...

And THAT is the kind of dobe that needs to be reproduced as much as possible!

She has beauty and good structure...........but the HEALTH is what I would be after more than any other thing on earth :)

Wow, just wow!

maxfox... fawn is a neat color, isn't it? Here on Chaz, Doberkim has the other type of Doberman dilute - a blue. And for a blue, her dog Rah has an amazign coat! Fawnie... well, she's about 7 years old and her coat isn't the greatest. Being on EVO has helped a little bit (along with special baths and the occasional round of antibiotics) but as a rule she's pretty funky. It's Color Dilution Alopecia, and nearly unavoidable with the dilutes.

Doesn't make them any less of a Doberman though. Some of my favorite dobes are dilutes. Even without CDA, a dilute's coat takes A LOT of extra care.

It is neat, I really like it. I was joking about wanting ten fawn dobermans, but they really are pretty. :) I would LOVE to have a doberman someday. There are so many here on Chaz that I have been pretty well sold on them. :D Unfortunately for me, it is going to be a while before I can get another dog... but we'll just see.

Wow, I had no idea about dilute coats and CDA and all that. Since I don't breed, nor have I ever had a purebred dog, I've just never looked into these things before. It's interesting! Thanks for educating me some on doberman coats. I'm fascinated!

And now, I am going to have to look up what a blue doberman looks like. That sounds really cool!

Absolutely GORGEOUS!

Dobermans are a breed that I absolutely love and respect! Maybe one day down the line I'll invest time and and mental space into more research into them and maybe own one. But for now, I'll leave them to the experienced and just enjoy all the pics! :D

Whoa.. Pride looks so good for her age! There's like no grey too!! *she says assuming dobes eventually go grey too*

Breaker sounds so funny! i might steal him lol.
i quite like Fawnie's colour actually! She's very expessive looking :)
Aw i wanna visit a breeder like that, where the dogs look in great shape and really happy!
I've always liked dobes, but these dogs (including your 2) make me LOVE them!! They're gorgeous!

She's got a little grey, but not much - and yes, Dobes do go grey... some moreso than others it appears. Ilsa is 6, and her muzzle is already going a bit silvery.

And happy... gosh, are they ever! They're some of the happiest dogs I've ever seen, very chipper and ready to play. They live the good life... it's a busy life, but they have fun all the same.
