Trying to get him to walk better on his leash, but everytime I stop walking and make him back up and wait for him to look at me..he never does! It takes him literally 10 whole minutes to actually make eye contact with me. He will if I say so, but not on his own..which is what I was trying to do (let him make the decision). I feel this is a good technique but am I supposed to wait until he makes eye contact with me every single time? We would get about 10 feet in 20 minutes.
