Lots of amazingness in that video.
I was fascinated with the training aspect of course :) How do you get a wild animal to hand over their offspring without stressing either mom or baby? Neat, training techniques...

Exactly!!! I love the part where they give the pup back to her mom and the mom promptly put her back on the ledge, like "Nope! You keep her, I get shrimp while you have her, so keep it coming!"

I laughed right out loud when that mama passed the baby back up on the deck....she totally trusts the people. Gee wiz...how could she not with all the free shrimp cocktail? LOL. Yes, it looks like it takes two people; one to examine and one to keep dishing out the goodies to make sure the Mom is all right with it. In fact, it looks like she's come to enjoy handing over her baby to the "baby-sitters." LOL.

I could not be the vet. I would be too busy squeeing and cuddling the little fluffball to actually do the exam.

Did you go see the pup Dober? I'm really jealous if you did, they're both awfully cute. And I loved the part where she just shoved the baby back up there lol.

Ohmygod that was adorable. Seriously. So. Adorable.

No Taq. There were five of us and it cost quite a bit to go to the aquarium and my ex and I were paying for the day's events. So, we all decided that it would be nice to go to the Volunteer Park botanical gardens/conservatory, which is free. It was beautiful. I haven't been there since I was a teen. It's a very gorgeous, large park and there's a museum there too. I think we'll try to do the aquarium another time soon though. Then we went to a really good Thai restaurant for lunch. It was super good and reasonable. So, it was a nice day...just didn't get to see the pup.:(

Click here to get an idea of the botanical gardens. The building was fashioned after London's Crystal palace:
