Some just don't know when to stop. I feel horrible when I read stories like that. Their hearts are big, they just go about it the wrong way.

:( :(

i think she did the right thing except she should have tried to have contacted the shelter in her area and explain what was going on and see if they could have helped her find homes for the dogs before all this had happened

Aww, that's sad... It really sounds like she was doing okay, she obviously wasn't hoarding them, was getting them the proper veterinary care they needed and wouldn't have even received in the shelter, and they were on their way to finding new homes... It even appears in the photos that she had the facilities to house these dogs, or at least many of them, too.

Now that the Animal Shelter has them, 60 dogs, it appears as they'll be in danger of being put down. I truly feel bad for her. I hope they can work this out.

It is sad. But when will people learn to follow the laws? And by this I mean contating local laws concerning the # of dogs allowed per residence, what it legally takes to run a rescue organization from one's homes, laws pertaining to crossing state lines (especially when the dogs are sick with who knows what) etc.
