What treats do you guys use? What are your dogs favourites?

I never really buy the same treats, unless Sierra REALLY loved something. I always try to have a "cookie" treat and a "jerky" type treat (or soft treat) on hand.

She LOVES Wellness Wellbites (what dog doesn't) and of course Benny Bullies. Cookies I'll get pretty much anything that has nice ingredients, but I also allow for "junky" treats every now and then, since I'm so careful with her food, I let her have junk food every so often :)

I have milkbones, but I keep them on hand more to put in the treats I make. If I'm feeling lazy I'll give them a plain one, but usually they get crushed up and thrown into somehting for texture.
Doom's favorite is Banana bars
Bobsie likes peanut butter bacon balls
Bear and Booger both seemed to like the Beef Bran muffins the best
April likes carob cookies
and Betsy likes the chicken garlic bites.
Ted's favorite were the banana chews.
*sigh*
I miss my crew.

I always keep a couple of bags of treats around - usually a Zuke's and a Wellbites. It's nice to have treats that "keep" well for storing in the car or in a bag.

But if I'm setting out to train, or going to class, I generally do cut-up meat, or leftovers, or a "junk food" favorite (Nutter Butters or Cheetos) if I don't have time for anything other than running into a gas station.

Wellbites are really awesome, I concur! I also like all of the Dogwise treats.

My boys really, really love dried chicken hearts sprinkled with garlic salt. That is SUPER high value for them, so I only use those for training. I also use Red Barn treat rolls or liver for training. When we're doing training at home, I use little pieces of pre-made Raw, too.

For cookies, Mother Nature is my favorite brand name. They have nice ingredients, a bunch of different flavors and they smell really good. I usually make a batch of home-made cookies a week, and try out a bunch of recipes. The favorites are liver & garlic cookies (which smell revolting, to me) and peanut butter & apple cookies.

Mine love oven dried beef or chicken liver. They also like hot dogs- but I give them tiny pieces and rarely. Too much salt. I could give Mini commercial treats, but Uncle Fred doesn't like them.

My favorite training treats are cut up Natural Balance rolls, or else sliced/chopped pieces of hot dog (which, seeing as hot dogs aren't very good for them, is rare). Sometimes I just use kibble pieces. Sometimes pieces of boneless, skinless chicken breast.
For chewing and general merriment, I give them RMBs occasionally and marrow bones.
I really like making my own treats. I try new stuff all the time when I have the supplies. And then I can control their size, as if for training or a treat for just because.
Probably sounds like I overfeed my dogs, but I don't. And training treats sometimes, most often when I use kibble, end up being one of their meals for the day.
