I have a Black lab Mix Raven, I took her deer hunting with us in northern utah we were planning on spending the day on 4 wheelers becuase nobody was going to be at the camp I took her with. We found a old orange sweater that was child size to make sure she would be seen and off we went. She ran along side us keeping up for the most part except her little excursions off of the trail. She went off of the trail when we went over a cattle gaurd and I thought for sure she was going to go around it. When she realized that we were getting away from us she started on a dead run back on to the trail and over the cattle gaurd, all four legs dropped through the bars. I heard the thud when she went through, (the tears in my eyes started to flow as I turned around) I think it freaked her out to not have ground under her feet any more and she got out of it before I got close to her I checked her out to see if she was hurt and she was fine I made her ride on the 4 wheeler to make sure she was Ok.
