My aunt's little mini dachshund, Lady, passed away. She was such a cool little girl, I'm really sad. She was probably about 10-11 years old, a little smooth red girl. When she and Nik and Trey were young, she'd scare the two shelties half to death by chasing them around. They just seemed to think she was a freak of nature with her little short legs. She'd chase them to where they were cuddled up on the back step together hiding from her It was so funny!
Lady was an all around good girl. A bit grumpy in her old age, but she was fabulous with all the kids. She was spry into her old age and playful. I'm sure she's somewhere at the bridge with her old friend Nikki and tormenting her as usual. They were both grand old girls.
