Absolutely no idea. How do you guys remember this stuff?!

Seriously.

I know I was around 12-13. I know I was wearing overalls the day I found out, which is a strange thing to remember. We had the talk and we already had pads in the house at the ready, so it was a matter of telling my mom, her saying "well, congrats" and moving on. :rofl1:

Edit: It's hard to remember since I have irregular periods. I could have started at 11 and not have the next one until 12 or 13.

Exactly this. First time was 12 but I didn't have another one til quite a bit later. I've always had this problem. I have spoken with my doctor about it and am going to have some testing done when I can afford it.

I think it was the summer before grade 9, so I would have been 13 or just turned 14. I was one of the last of my friends.

My periods were crazy irregular before I was on BC, so it was a few months until I got my second.

I have no idea. I know I was in middle school, and I don't think I was as young as 12, so...13?

I don't know how true it is but the DR. at the time told my mom that girls with more fat tend to get it earlier than those with less body fat.

I'm not heavy-set by any means, but I'm not a slender willow, either. When I was born I was in the 90th percentile for my weight. I've never been slender and never will be slender.

It's a life changing experience! Lol I don't know why I remember. It was a huge topic of conversation amongst my friends in like 5th/6th grade which probably helps. I'm sure I have it written in a diary somewhere too lol.

Also add I'm not like, bean pole size but I've always been a normal healthy weight. I think genetics (ie, my mom and sisters were all 12ish too) contributed more than my weight.

11 or 12; 6th grade anyway. It was always super awkward having to ask to go to the restroom and trying to stuff a pad in my pocket without my classmates noticing. I've been as regular as a clock since the first one.

I was nine years old. I remember because I was in Poland. For the summer. With no parents. One has not LIVED until they have to ask their host family - in broken Polish - that you need.... supplies.
