I started giving my dog ziggies after I tried the first one that came with the kong I bought. It turns out that they've discontinued them; does anyone know why? I think there may have been wheat gluten in them, but I can't find any information on whether it's some kind of recall or just a decision to discontinue an unpopular product.

I saw some at my local pets mart just last weekend... I didn't hear anything about them being discontinued . . .

Maybe with the recalls people are reading their dog's food/treat ingredients. . . hmmm

Ingredients
Wheat Gluten, Vegetable Glycerin, Chicken Liver, Alfalfa Concentrate: A Natural Source of Chlorophyll, Powdered Cellulose Fiber, Mono and Diglycerides of Edible Fatty Acids, Magnesium Stearate, Calcium Carbonate, Parsley, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Metabisulfite, Tocopherols: Vitamin E.

Oh, those are no good. Search for healthier snacks to put in your dog's kong. :) Well, at least that's a suggestion.
