As I understand it, they (SGK) got a new vice president and she said that since she is is anti-abortion, she doesn't support the mission of PP.

My thoughts are that people should mind their own business and stop trying to tell others how to live. :) The only person who should make a decision about abortion is the pregnant woman. JMO. :)

Regardless of this decision, **** THE SUSAN G KOMEN ORG.
    They are not a charity.

    - This is the same charity that spends donor dollars suing other charities over copyright infringement.

What have they copyrighted? The term "for the cure" as well as the ribbon.
They spend DONOR DOLLARS, sueing OTHER charities.

    - Only spends 15% of it's 400 MILLION dollars of donations on cancer research (20% goes to paying executives, not including the CEO) Most of the rest is on fund raising and fun company trips and expenses

    - Has a CEO who makes about 500,000 per year.

    - Has a long-standing history of lobbying against federal assistance to women with breast cancer.

They made the choice to follow along with religious extremists and cop out of helping women who need it so they can ENJOY THE FALL.

3% of what planned parenthood does is abortion services.
and none of that is funded by government money.

The other 97% includes testing and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases, contraception, cancer screening and prevention, and pregnancy testing and prenatal services.

AND HERE IS A GREAT FUN TIDBIT OF "NO **** SHERLOCK" FOR THE EXTREMISTS.
Easy access to birth control is PROVEN to lower abortion rates. DRAMATICALLY. (DUH)
so if you gave 2 craps about babies instead of shaming women for having sex.. you might be behind it.

and yea, prenatal care is kind of important for those babies you seem to not care about once they are born.

    Jerks.

Well said Fran. Another psuedo charity making people rich by taking from thise with big hearts. Regardless of what they fund or don't fund, they do a lot more to make money than help those that need it.

Well said Fran, I have always been very against religious extremists that impose their beliefs on others ... Which doesn't sound very "godly" to me.
