Yup, what the title says!
We've been noticing some mouse poop in our back storage closet in the basement, and figured we had a mouse or two in our midst. I hadn't gotten around to getting traps yet.
THis morning, Finn and June were both VERY interested in getting behind the ferret cage. I looked around the area but didn't see anything. I crated Finn so I could work, and figured June might handle it.
Sure enough, I heard Finn whining from his crate (which is right across from the ferret cage). I come out and see June batting at a twitching little mouse in front of the cage!
I put it out of its misery quickly and disposed of it. I hope it's the only one, but at least we have a mouser in our midst if I'm wrong.
