The silver lining of recent sad events.... Jayne can finally be integrated into the group. With two males it had been crate 'n' rotate. Ronin had his girls, so Jayne was either by himself or stuck with a foster. This worked out well for our fosters, since Jayne is a great playmate and wore the fosters out with his tireless antics.

This week we've started integrating him in with the girls. Save for a few snarks due to rude boy behavior, it has gone very well. Kaylee has started to play again, which is nice to see. I think she'd gotten in the habit of being calm around Ronin, so now she can finally act her age around Jayne.

Very sweet pictures :) Kaylee looks like she loves having a playmate. Love the last two pictures!

((((((hug)))))) I know this is so bittersweet for you. I'm so glad things are working out for the best. :) Jayne is so handsome, he reminds me of Ronin in more ways than one. I'm sure Ronin can see how happy his family is, and is smiling down on you all. <3

The picture of Revy on her back is frame-worthy.

I'm glad to see that Jayne is getting along with Kaylee. He really does remind me so much of Ilsa, she was so special and so is he.

Today was a "two steps back" day - I think it's the weather, they were cooped up inside most of the day.

Everybody is grumbling at everybody, but mostly the girls are grumbling at Jayne. He can't seem to do anything right - can't even walk past the girls without getting snarked at. :(

Tomorrow I'm putting ALL the toys and bones away, and effective tonight they're all being crated at night together.

*sigh* They just don't like him. :(

Whats not to like? He is Jayne.
HA. He's big, male and stupid. ;)

The girls don't want him touching THEIR bones, drinking from THEIR water bowl, jumping on THEIR sofa or breathing THEIR air. Everyone is fine if they're all ignoring each other, but the second he approaches them it's a Pearly Whites display.
